“Chondroitin” is a Greek word that means “the essence of the cartilage.” Chondroitin is needed for the health of our joints, and it is an essential component of the glutinous substance that prevents friction between bones. Chondroitin is found in large amounts in the eyeball and cornea, skin, tendons, and liver, but it also connects all 60 billion cells in our body. Chondroitin is also needed to control the water content in our body, which explains its direct relationship to the state of our skin.

It is not a secret that chondroitin has become one of the driving forces helping the aging Japanese society to remain active and lively. A groundbreaking technology that allows us to extract chondroitin from shark liver oil intact was used in this product.
